Hotels and representatives may submit a property for future consideration, but submission does not guarantee selection. Awards are decided independently by the HotelHotTubs editorial team.
Can hotels pay to be selected?
No. Hotels cannot purchase Editor's Choice recognition, and commercial relationships do not determine who is chosen.
Does Editor's Choice mean every room has a hot tub?
No. Some winners offer a shared or on-property hot tub, while others provide tubs only in specific room categories. We identify the distinction and exact room type when the evidence supports it.
Has HotelHotTubs personally stayed at every property?
No. Selections draw on hotel-published information, property and room photography, traveler reviews, and HotelHotTubs' structured verification data. Our methodology is evidence-based, not a claim of a personal stay at every hotel.
How often are winners selected?
Editor's Choice is selected annually. Each year's cohort is evaluated independently.
