It’s a quaint, boutique style hotel-I was told the 2nd oldest in the state. You get, one, old style key, and the atmosphere in the entire hotel feels like a throwback to calmer/slower pace of life! Our breakfast the next morning(included in our stay) was fabulous! Staff was all friendly and helpful. It wasn’t really a problem but being the age that it is, our room and bed were small, but still comfortable. There is a spiral staircase in the main foyer which led up to the 2nd floor and since our room was the first on the right so it was the closest but having some back problems and carrying my overnight bag up was a bit of a challenge.

It was a cute historic hotel in a beautiful neighborhood away from the city. The staff was great! Breakfast was a little underwhelming, I understand it’s free but it wouldn’t hurt to spruce it up a little bit. Plus, I got a look at some of the clientele at that hotel, these are the kind of people that would even pay for a nicer breakfast option, if there was a premium.

The dinner was excellent, but the free breakfast was ok. Simple egg bake with fruit and coffee. Service and staff was great but the accommodation was very basic. A/C was extremely loud couldn't sleep. Try to open slider for some air, but no screen and bugs was coming in and the staff of the Inn was taking their smoke brake under are room.

The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really good and exceeded our expectations. The location is easy to find. It was a little further drive from Stillwater than we first thought. But in some ways, this was nice. The exterior of the older section is old, the interior was nice. Charming!

The Afton House Inn staff was so welcoming and I felt very taken care of by Peggy. The Swirl restaurant at the Inn had great food and entertainment as well as an amazing staff. I enjoyed my stay in this quaint town close to the river. The complimentary breakfast each day was perfect.
