“This family run hotel is fantastic ! It has a lot of charm and "olde" world character. Our ground floor room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, with a chaise long for stretching on. One "feature" was that the wash basin was in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom which had a jacuzzi bath/shower facility. Good storage space. We had chosen a room with a patio, which had 2 metal chairs and a table which were ideal for us to sit out in the morning and late afternoons to view the White Mountain's countryside and Ellis River. We were graced with blue skies and good temperatures which added to our enjoyment. The key "plus" factor was the fabulous service we received - very welcoming, friendly, helpful and engaging throughout from Mary and Christine, our main contacts, but especially our interaction with them during the wonderful inclusive breakfast. Fresh fruit/yogurt/granola/cereals/pastries followed by a choice of 2 hot options, freshly prepared by John (Mary's husband) in the kitchen. Each afternoon, complimentary tea/coffee facilities and cookies were available. Breakfast was delicious each morning. Service was wonderful, everyone working there were very friendly and accommodating with any of our needs. We enjoyed relaxing on the adirondack chairs by the river. It was all good there were no negatives. Having stayed at many other B&B's in the area the Inn at Ellis river was one of the best.
