What are the Hotel Hot Tubs badges?

Two recognitions. Editor's Choice 2026 is our annual selection of the best hot tub hotels in the country. The Verified badge goes to any hotel we list where we hold a photograph of the tub that our reviewers have checked — most listings across the web say "jacuzzi" and mean a shared spa downstairs, and the badge marks the ones where we have seen the tub.

Is there a cost?

Accepted Answer

No. There are no fees, no contracts, and no commissions attached to the badge. Hotels cannot pay to be selected for Editor's Choice, and nothing is owed for displaying either badge.

How did my property qualify?

Accepted Answer

We hold a photograph of your tub that a reviewer has looked at and classified, and we can see your own website. A listing that rests only on a description or a guest review doesn't qualify — a badge is a claim published on your site, so it has to be backed by a picture. Editor's Choice adds an editorial selection on top of that.

Where does the badge link to?

Accepted Answer

To the page on our site that lists your hotel — usually hot tub hotels in your city, or your own listing page where a city page isn't the better fit. It is an ordinary, followed link. We never point it somewhere your hotel doesn't appear.

What happens if our listing changes?

Accepted Answer

The badge updates itself. It is served from our side, so if the recognition changes the image changes with it. Nothing on your site breaks, and nothing keeps showing a claim we no longer stand behind.

How do I add my badge to my website?

Search for your property above, choose a style and size, and copy the embed code. Paste it into your site's HTML wherever recognition belongs — a press page, an about page, or the footer. If your editor strips images, use the plain hyperlink instead. Please don't alter or recolour the artwork.
