We loved our stay at hotel van zandt and will stay here again next time we are in Austin. The hotel staff are all incredibly kind and attentive. The room was spacious and comfortable. Location was perfect for walking around downtown and along the river walk. Cute decor! Zero noise from the downtown construction during our stay. One more mention for the staff - major props for being so nice, thank you! I should have brought my dog. Next time I will :) !

The location is great, restaurants and amenities are fantastic. Staff is very friendly. A 70 dollar mandatory overnight valet fee seems high. Especially as self parking is not available and with two small kids, remote parking was not an option.

Providing beverage chips for guest to have a free coffee or adult beverage at the bar is a great added value. Having steamers instead of irons is also a plus. The mid century decor is very stylish and elegant. The in room coffee maker !
