How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
November to April is when a private tub in Madison is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 11°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. At the other end, by July the average high is 82°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from UW ARBORETUM - MADISON, WI US, 4km away.

Across the 29 verified stays here, listed rates run $60–$270 a night before tax and cluster near $97. La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Madison American Center is the lowest we've confirmed, at $60. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
Hampton Inn & Suites Madison Downtown, at 9.6/10 from 1,515 guest reviews. The Buckingham Inn follows at 9.7 from 123 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.
25 of the 29 stays we list in Madison, WI are tagged in-room jacuzzi or jetted tub. 5 are shared hotel spas — labelled that way, never sold as in-room.
Wyndham, Comfort, Hilton and Quality Inn all have verified tub rooms in Madison. The other 7 are independents.
3 of the 29 verified stays in Madison, WI have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 22 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
