This is a nice traditional hotel on the Lake. We had a good sized room with a comfortable bed and 2 very nice armchairs. The view of the lake was pretty and provided good light into the room. A reasonable size fridge was provided. Very happy with the bathroom and walk in shower. Pleasant toiletries. We had chosen a terrace which was a little disappointing but then we saw the bugs and realised we wouldn't sit out anyway. Whilst the staff were great, the State House restaurant wasn't very good.

The room was very well appointed with desk, comfortable relaxing chairs and well appointed wash room. The location was great for us as and being able to relax by the lake was a bonus. The staff from the initial arrival through the complete experience - breakfast and the evening meal were friendly and welcoming. A truly great and enjoyable time

Great location. It was close enough from the Madison Airport to get a ride by a ride app. Excellent service. Staffs were very attentive and had the old hotel manners that most hotels don't have anymore. Wel-lmaintain old, but very charming building and the room that we stayed in was clean and comfortable.
