The breakfast was better than expected, and the pool area was clean and well-maintained. Parking was easy to find, and this hotel was right next to Perkins and Rocky Rococo, which are solid options if you're looking for food. A short walk away (1/4 mi.?) you'll find not one, but two Kwik Trips across the road from each other, as well as Dunkin Donuts. I understand that we stayed while the Midwest Horse Fair was happening nearby, but the stay was overall not worth the $200 per night that was paid. If given a second chance, I would have stayed even a little further away (10-15 miles) and saved roughly half of the money spent.

The juices were great! I made a waffle. It was fine. We ate breakfast there the first morning. There was very little to choose from at 8:30 am. The area was messy from guests spilling things. They offered hard boiled eggs for a hot meal and the warming oven they were kept in had greasy finger prints all of it. We didn't have any. We ate next door the following days.

You need fans in the bathrooms; the remodeling/decorating is of 3-4 different colors/styles. A bit spooky at night. I did not feel very safe. Fan in bathroom; brighter hallways; color coordinate, get new items to decorate entire place; refill your vending & ice machines regularly, etc

The hotel was proper enough for our two night stay. It is clean enough. The public bus stop is in reachable way, so we could travel with it to the center.

The entire place is stuck in 1980s decor and needs serious renovation.
