“The view from our balcony was absolutely phenomenal. This was our first time visiting Lake George, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The shower/jacuzzi bathtub combination was one of the worst design ideas we have experienced in any lodge, hotel, motel, etc., in our almost 39 years of marriage, or even prior to being married.”

“Overall, the hotel met my expectations because I had read the reviews and knew our room would be in the two-story side building rather than the grand main building. While that building and our room felt a bit outdated, we absolutely loved getting a room with a beautiful lake view! The facility has great amenities, including the indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, and jacuzzi, and the location is fantastic.”

How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
October to April is when a private tub in Peru is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 8°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. October is also the wettest month at 5.2 inches, which makes the case twice. At the other end, by July the average high is 75°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from PERU, VT US, 5km away.

Across the 44 verified stays here, listed rates run $71–$498 a night before tax and cluster near $168. Clarion Inn & Suites at The Outlets of Lake George is the lowest we've confirmed, at $71. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
The Wilmington Inn, at 9.9/10 from 478 guest reviews. Inn on Putney Road Bed and Breakfast follows at 9.8 from 849 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.
38 of the 44 stays we list in Peru, VT are tagged in-room jacuzzi or jetted tub. 2 are shared hotel spas — labelled that way, never sold as in-room.
Hampton, Holiday Inn, Clarion and Comfort all have verified tub rooms in Peru. The other 31 are independents.
2 of the 44 verified stays in Peru, VT have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 36 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
Under $150: 18 stays ($71–$146), e.g. Farm Road Estate. $150–$249: 18 stays ($156–$249), e.g. The Wilmington Inn. $250 and up: 4 stays ($250–$498), e.g. Inn on Putney Road Bed and Breakfast.
