“The view from our balcony was absolutely phenomenal. This was our first time visiting Lake George, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The shower/jacuzzi bathtub combination was one of the worst design ideas we have experienced in any lodge, hotel, motel, etc., in our almost 39 years of marriage, or even prior to being married.”

How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
October to April is when a private tub in Middlebury is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 9°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. At the other end, by July the average high is 80°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from CORNWALL, VT US, 7km away.

Across the 41 verified stays here, listed rates run $88–$543 a night before tax and cluster near $151. Americas Best Value Inn Plattsburgh is the lowest we've confirmed, at $88. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
The Inn at Erlowest, at 9.8/10 from 634 guest reviews. Green Mountain Suites Hotel follows at 9.5 from 1,330 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.
39 of the 41 stays we list in Middlebury, VT are tagged in-room jacuzzi or jetted tub. 3 are shared hotel spas — labelled that way, never sold as in-room.
Best Western, Comfort, Courtyard and Days Inn all have verified tub rooms in Middlebury. The other 33 are independents.
5 of the 41 verified stays in Middlebury, VT have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 34 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
