“Love the location, pool, and room was comfortable. The staff were so kind and the lobby was lovely. Breakfast was decent. They had hard boiled eggs, activa yogurt, pancakes, apples, bananas, 2 dry cereals, instant oatmeal, bagels , and assorted pastries (muffins, donuts). Pool was lovely with the slides and the hot tub. Still active in the evening/ night. So close to Cedar Point. Good pizza places near by. Chetz and Matt’s and pizza house east both were good and good price! And we are picky about pizza!”

How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
November to April is when a private tub in Sandusky is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 22°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. April is also the wettest month at 3.8 inches, which makes the case twice. At the other end, by July the average high is 82°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from SANDUSKY, OH US, 4km away.

How the 20 most-visited spots within 15km of our Sandusky listings break down by type.
Across the 27 verified stays here, listed rates run $58–$479 a night before tax and cluster near $86. Comfort Inn Sandusky is the lowest we've confirmed, at $58. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
Comfort Inn Sandusky, at 9.4/10 from 510 guest reviews. The Island House Hotel follows at 9.4 from 473 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.
23 of the 27 stays we list in Sandusky, OH are tagged in-room jacuzzi or jetted tub. 3 are shared hotel spas — labelled that way, never sold as in-room.
Comfort, Red Roof, Best Western and Days Inn all have verified tub rooms in Sandusky. The other 12 are independents.
2 of the 27 verified stays in Sandusky, OH have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 21 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
