“Love the location, pool, and room was comfortable. The staff were so kind and the lobby was lovely. Breakfast was decent. They had hard boiled eggs, activa yogurt, pancakes, apples, bananas, 2 dry cereals, instant oatmeal, bagels , and assorted pastries (muffins, donuts). Pool was lovely with the slides and the hot tub. Still active in the evening/ night. So close to Cedar Point. Good pizza places near by. Chetz and Matt’s and pizza house east both were good and good price! And we are picky about pizza!”

How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
November to April is when a private tub in Norwalk is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 19°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. At the other end, by July the average high is 83°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from NORWALK WWTP, OH US, 1km away.

Across the 24 verified stays here, listed rates run $58–$479 a night before tax and cluster near $85. Comfort Inn Sandusky is the lowest we've confirmed, at $58. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
Comfort Inn Sandusky, at 9.4/10 from 510 guest reviews. South Shore Inn follows at 9.4 from 254 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.
21 of the 24 stays we list in Norwalk, OH are tagged in-room jacuzzi or jetted tub. 2 are shared hotel spas — labelled that way, never sold as in-room.
Comfort, Red Roof, Best Western and Days Inn all have verified tub rooms in Norwalk. The other 10 are independents.
2 of the 24 verified stays in Norwalk, OH have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 19 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
Under $150: 20 stays ($58–$108), e.g. Comfort Inn Sandusky. $150–$249: 1 stay ($172–$172), e.g. South Beach Resort Hotel. $250 and up: 3 stays ($265–$479), e.g. Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky.
