How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
December to February is when a private tub in Lake Lure is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 28°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. At the other end, by July the average high is 88°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from LAKE LURE 2, NC US, 4km away.

Across the 29 verified stays here, listed rates run $71–$430 a night before tax and cluster near $143. Brookstone Lodge is the lowest we've confirmed, at $71. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
Biltmore Village Inn Bed & Breakfast, at 10.0/10 from 1,993 guest reviews. 1899 Wright Inn and Carriage House follows at 9.8 from 1,170 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.

1 of the Lake Lure stays here have a tub on a private deck, patio or balcony rather than a shared one. Filter to "Private patio tub" to see just those.
3 of the 29 verified stays in Lake Lure, NC have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 18 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
