How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
November to April is when a private tub in Madison is the reason to book rather than a nice extra — January nights average 23°F and the average high stays at or below 60°F. April is also the wettest month at 4.2 inches, which makes the case twice. At the other end, by July the average high is 82°F, which is patio weather rather than hot-tub weather. Figures are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from NEW HAVEN TWEED AP, CT US, 25km away.

Across the 23 verified stays here, listed rates run $59–$290 a night before tax and cluster near $97. Perry-O Inn & Suites is the lowest we've confirmed, at $59. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
Oak Lodge, at 10.0/10 from 80 guest reviews. Oak Lodge follows at 9.8 from 83 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.

6 of the 23 verified stays in Madison, IN have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 17 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
