How we verify a tub is in the room·The same figure for every city and state
Across the 16 verified stays here, listed rates run $88–$389 a night before tax and cluster near $149. Americas Best Value Inn Plattsburgh is the lowest we've confirmed, at $88. The bottom of that range is a standard room with a jetted bath; the top is a suite built around the tub.
Green Mountain Suites Hotel, at 9.5/10 from 1,330 guest reviews. Starlight Inn follows at 9.4 from 776 reviews. Our list puts private tubs (in the room or on a private patio) first, then shared hotel spas. Within each group, hotels with strong scores from many guests, more photos, and a tub we've seen in their own photos rank higher. Listings with very few reviews or photos sit at the bottom of their group.
15 of the 16 stays we list in Essex, VT are tagged in-room jacuzzi or jetted tub. 2 are shared hotel spas — labelled that way, never sold as in-room.
Best Western, Days Inn and Hilton all have verified tub rooms in Essex. The other 11 are independents.
2 of the 16 verified stays in Essex, VT have a jetted whirlpool tub in the room, and 13 more have another kind of private in-room tub. "Whirlpool", "jacuzzi" and "jetted tub" all describe the same thing — a tub with jets — so hotels use them interchangeably. What they don't tell you is whether it's a jetted tub or a plain deep soaking tub with no jets at all, which is the distinction we check and label.
Under $150: 9 stays ($88–$149), e.g. Green Mountain Suites Hotel. $150–$249: 4 stays ($151–$249), e.g. Green Mountain Inn. $250 and up: 3 stays ($259–$389), e.g. Lakeshore Vermont.
