Close to the venue we were attending Car in parking lot with flat tires, looked like it had been there awhile Pool and hot tub were closed. This wasn’t listed on website

The new staff seem to be doing their best to turn the place around. Our room looked clean, the ice machine worked, check-in and check-out was easy. A/C worked. Pillows were fine. I had fairly low expectations that were met. Bed was firm. Toilet worked, TV worked. There's still a lot they have to fix, that was inaccurately reflected on Booking's website. No phone or alarm clock. Pool was out of order. No breakfast left when we left at 8am. And the no-smoking room smelled like it was previously smoking. None of it was a deal-breaker for us, but the site needs more transparency before check-in.

Room was cleaned ok, smelled good unlike some rooms we have stayed in, breakfast was seriously lacking but they all are now after COVID. Loaf of Meijer white bread, oatmeal, coffee, milk, couple of juices, old jelly packets, no butter or fruit? Oh well, coffee was good. Just off the freeway so good location, nothing to look at though. Very close to gas stations and groceries. Second floor was stairs only but they were wide and lit well. Staff was nice. Breakfast, lower room rates would be nice, triples on the weekend.

I like the friendly and responsive staff. The bed was very comfortable. I had a big window that looked out over a field/grassy area and trees. Overall the property is old and ain’t shiny and polished, but perfectly comfortable for basic motel stay.
