The Astor is a beautiful old home in a nice older tree-lined neighborhood. We had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. Hosts were helpful and pleasant; we enjoyed conversing with them. They referred us to a good local Italian restaurant nearby (Angelina's). We had to negotiate a spiral staircase to get to our room, but our host helped us get our luggage up. Breakfast was fabulous. Parking was easy in back of the house. We would stay here again if we are ever in Green Bay. A great alternative to a chain hotel! There were a few quirks in the room (like the fan in the bathroom). Coffee in the room would have been nice, but that was not a deal-breaker.

The home made fresh breakfasts were gourmet treats, different every morning. Loved it. It was close to the Fox River Bike Trail for a lovely morning walking venue. The Astor is in an exceptionally beautiful and historic part of Green Bay. And the historic house itself is in immaculate condition. The owners are gregarious and full of useful information. The lighting. It was probably quite adequate for most people, but not for 84 year old eyes. The elderly need more intense light to properly resolve optical input.

The breakfasts were incredible. We were able to choose to have breakfast in our room or in the parlor. We did both during our stay. The Astor House is beautiful and every detail was included to make us feel at home. I can't recommend enough for anyone planning a stay in Green Bay! You will not be disappointed! Not a thing.
