The hotel is nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. The breakfast was very good - especially appreciate the breakfast start time of 6am. BUT The area directly around the hotel location is filled with large groups of homeless people hanging out on the streets, and drug addicts openly using on the street. This vibe left my spouse feeling uncomfortable about venturing out from the hotel in the evenings to explore the downtown area (which is just a few blocks away). Because of this - and despite the hotel itself being very nice - I must say I don't recommend staying here. Pa As stated above - the area around the hotel is sketchy and filled with large groups of homeless people hanging out on the streets, and drug addicts openly using on the street. Spokane clearly has a major problem with this, and if it is not addressed/resolved I believe it will drive away tourism.

Staff was great, easy to check in and out. Good breakfast, comfortable room. Location is in a neighborhood that sees many homeless. There was adequate security. Small parking area. By information at the front desk the rooms are cleaned/straightened daily, but towel and linen are changed every 3 days. This is fine. Here is the issue. Our room was not cleaned. I specifically asked for the shampoo bottle to be refilled as it was completely out and I had not brought my own. When we came back that evening, the shampoo was empty, the beds were not made, I could see no evidence that housekeeping had been in the room.

Nice hotel, nothing exceptional but nice for one night. Make sure you give yourself some time for breakfast because it closes right on time, they will shut doors in front of you without asking if you are done or not.

I liked the location for the straightforward, small room with beds - the price was high. I will be coming to Spokane in the future and am looking for a lower price that I can come to use more often.

Location in the middle of the Spokane homeless and drug area. Not La Quinta’s fault but state and city’s created problem like so many cities in cities across the country.

It was clean and surprisingly quiet at night The location isn’t in a great area but if you need a place to stay on on your road trip it does the trick

It was very clean. Friendly staff. The people hanging out across the street asking for money and writing on the car.
