The location was great. Lounge staff were very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby had a faint sewer smell. Our bathtub lining was peeling off. The bathroom floor had some smudges of something throughout. Someone previously had written on the mirror in the bathroom and after I showered the writing was visible. This tells me that staff hadn't cleaned the mirror and makes me wonder what else wasn't cleaned in the room.

there were only 2 people who were waiting tables and they were runninghelter shelter. They said that workers didn’t show up. They had no tea made yet and took awhile for it to be made. that’s ok but I had to ask 3 times to get a drink. They needed more help to take care out f Sunday breakfast. The help did the best they could but it should not have been this bad.

Convenient location. Not a great value for the price. The bathroom was outdated. For a typical upscale hotel (those not catering to tourists in a historical town; e.g., Santa Fe, where rustic is expected), the Overton should provide a sleek bathroom… glass walk-in shower.

Staff are the best in town! Location is what we needed. The hotel restaurant/bar is a bonus. This hotel definitely needs updating especially guest rooms. The poor air conditioning is a deal breaker for me.

It was close to the university. The beds were comfy. They gave us extra towels for swimming. There was an apple pie box on the floor when we arrived by the bed, and it stayed there the entire weekend.
