“The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. We messed up and stayed way later than we were supposed to and they were very accommodating. Even after we finally got out of our yurt, we were allowed to stay onsite and continue to use their trails to keep birding. Loved the space. Beautifully designed. We were in the Trouvey—one of the Luna domes—and somebody gets an A++ on the structural design of the interior. And the exterior, for that matter. Beautifully appointed. Great AC. (I don't know how well it delivers in August, but it was running ice cold for us in late April.) Great hot tub w/comfortable edge for neck. The property felt remote, but less than an hour from Austin. It's a place to turn off your phone and definitely don't bring your computer. Wish we'd stayed two nights; one was not enough. It's not that much time from check in to check out, and if you have to go to Liberty Hill for dinner, you're really robbing yourself of precious time in this amazing spot. Bring your own food if you're here for only one night. I would've splurged for the extra night if I'd understood.
