The rooms were large, and there was an oven in the room, not just a stove top like a lot of places. The location of the property is pretty awesome as it’s close to everything. The wifi was pretty decent. The staff - with the exception of the lady who checked us in, seemed to be very friendly and honest. The Roku TV, though small, in the room with the king sized bed, was very nice to have. The bed was pretty comfortable also, so I didn’t wake up hurting as I often do when we stay away from home. Our room(s) were on the first floor, so that was nice also. The plumbing seemed pretty well maintain The rooms weren’t the cleanest. The carpet was sticky and there were cobwebs. There was a musty smell to both of the rooms we had (family suite is actually 2 adjoining rooms) and one of the doors to the outside didn’t actually lock even though there was a key card lock on it, so it wasn’t all the way secure. The lady who checked us in, charged me $170+ extra for no reason, stating the owner had told her to do so. He hadn’t, and I knew that because I’d heard what he’d told her with my own ears. Luckily the rest of the staff, including the owner, had integrity, and a refund for that money was…

It was quiet and I was not disturbed at all. My dog was allowed with a deposit and there was plenty of grassy areas for him to use the bathroom. Had a small balcony with sliding door that looked over the pool. I had a king bed with smoking. It also has a small loveseat in the room. Refrigerator and microwave worked. There is also a laundry room for guests to use, There is a Mexican restaurant attached to this motel. Also, within walking distance, there are a few gas stations, a liquor store, tobacco outlet and several other food establishments. Within 2-3 blocks there is a Little Caesars Pizza Pool was dirty and green. Only one ice machine worked. No elevator. The key card and entry door were not in sync. Door was hard to open most of the time, but my child walked in a few times without a key card. Door and handle needs to be fixed & always pushed shut and handle lifted for it to actually lock. Carpet needed to be vacuumed better(I found a few dead bugs and old food right under the dresser. None of the outside entry/exit doors were locked at any point during the week. The room safe was not working either. Coffee pot over filled cup. No iron, but had an ironing board. No hairdryer.

The pool was clean, the room was large, plenty of close parking. All but one of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The water for the shower was very hot. Working washer and dryer on site, ice machine working. The hotel was quite during my stay. I would stay here again overall. The key cards had to be reset multiple times each day, the Continental breakfast was ok but the coffee was horrible. There's some maintenance work needed especially with the toilets. The traffic trying to leave the hotel is busy but there is an alternate route to get through it.

Close to everything and staff was incredibly friendly. Rooms are seriously outdated and carpet is very sticky with the smell of cigarettes everywhere you go. Breakfast was eggo waffles that had been thawing out in the display case since 6am and cereal, bagels/bread or fruit. Really needs upgrades.

Though just off the highway, it was very quiet, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, showers were hot. The sign in the breakfast room said "deluxe" breakfast. It was cheap food, definitely not deluxe. Also, the TV was old and fuzzy and the blow dryer didn't work.
