About this hotel
We found the tub in Shutters On the Banks' own photographs, so the label on this page is what the room actually has. A guest put it this way: “Enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi while watching the sun go down.” At about $191 a night it sits at the upper end of the 4 verified tub stays we list in Kill Devil Hills.

Enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi while watching the sun go down.

The location of our room was facing the ocean and we could just step down and walk a bit over the dune to get there, so right at the beach. Hot tub and pool were also great to relax.

Shutters is a great place we enjoy coming back to each year. It’s within walking distance to our favorite spots in kill devil hills. It’s always clean, staff is very kind and helpful, and the pool area is better than most comparable hotels. This will continue to be our go-to! The layout of this years room was different from previous rooms with the sink right in front of the entrance, but this wasn’t a huge deal.

Extremely clean all the staff were overly friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. The older section that we stayed in, did not have an elevator. But it was only two floors.

I’ve stayed there many times, convenient, ocean side & has pools. the outdoor showers barely work creating sand being tracked into room

For a one night stay, it was great. Friendly staff when we arrive and depart. Very knowledgeable about the area and where to find things. Beach access was wonderful, with no stairs or too high of a hill to climb over.
