Great rooms, super comfortable. When the cafe and restaurant is good, it’s good. Felt like we were second class citizens….1. went to the pool at 10am after it opened, lots of loungers free. Lady said everything was booked and we couldn’t use the loungers or any seating around the pool. I said would have been nice to tell us at check in we had to book to use the pool, she said “they’re a different organisation” and just fobbed us off. 2. When leaving on a Saturday afternoon big queues outside and snaking inside for rooftop bar. We wanted to take elevator to go from lobby to ground floor to leave with our bags. Took 10mins waiting for elevator that never came, it was just us

Pros ; Close to everything we wanted. Club. Brunch. Bars. Cons; Small bed and facilities. No ice bucket in room stunk. Staff was talking about guests who called the front desk with issues while other guests were standing there which was unnecessary. Got a table at sungold to eat and drink but service was slow and never brought us water. We got a dirty martini with no olives ? They also told us we have to leave by 5 for an event. Odd !

location was great - staff was great, and the pool was an added bonus The rooms are small as you would expect in NY. Would be nice is there was more shelving in the bathroom to store toiletries and a place to store luggage. The bed was slightly too low to slide the suitcase under, and there wasn't a luggage stand or really any place for an open suitcase.

I loved the location- close to the train and there are many cool restaurants and shops close by. I wish the bed in our room was a little bigger- a double bed is small for us.

Loved the location! And BENI was an amazing front desk rep! Elevators were slow… and the wind blowing during the nights kept me up.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had an exceptional experience. One of the best managed hotels I've ever stayed in.
