Norris Point is a good place to situate yourself if you want to do things on the north side of Gros Morne although it’s a lot quieter and has less amenities than Rocky Point. There is a passenger ferry that goes across to Woody Point so you can explore there. The Sugar Hill Inn was super clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We had to change rooms after 2 nights and the staff moved our bags for us while we were out for the day. The onsite restaurant was good and they went our of their way to prep a breakfast for us to have before a super early morning departure. It was also nice to Nothing, it was great!

Great location but not walkable to the ferry. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was excellent. There was a guest laundry which was free and with washing liquid and tumble dryer sheets provided. Free water and milk in the fridge and a separate kettle. Plenty of free parking. The room was a little small with plenty of drawer space but no space for suitcases. The fridge was in the small kitchen area outside the room so accessible to other guests but we had no issues. WiFi was patchy in the room.

What a fantastic stay we had at Sugar Hill! The room was so spacious and the bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was made to order each morning and the staff was so friendly! We stayed two nights. I highly recommend making reservations at the restaurant on site. It was so good. It was the perfect location for our two day trip exploring Gros Morne National Park.

Location was good for our trip. Very clean and well maintained. Good service. Excellent breakfast. Room door to outside didn't lock properly. Opened onto a veranda and some people from the restaurant congregated there (to smoke?) which made it noisy. But they didn't stay long.
