“Love the vibe! The staff were overall very friendly and helpful. The main lobby is welcoming, charming and comfortable…but the back of the building is where it’s at! What a gem along the river…sitting in one of the two soaking tubs with a rippling waterfall cancelling out the noise of the road…so smart! Updated pool area, multiple fire pits with cozy chairs and the cutest natural play area for kids. Our room was functional, well appointed and we loved the decor. If only we could have gotten the humidity out of our room without it getting too cold…tricky. Another innovative and helpful tool provided and well thought out is the “Modern Guide of the Ozark Mountains” brochure given at check in. So, so, smart. The property was pretty. It was up against a creek which the kids loved playing in. The hotel was also decorated so cute and I loved they had kid games, drinks for the adults and bands in the main area. They also sold s’mores and had fire pits going! The offered a continental breakfast which basically consisted of coffee, toast or bagels and yogurt. It just would have been nice to have more hot options for the kids and variety. I also didn’t realize they don’t have an elevator. It’s a motel style hotel. We were on the 2nd floor with 3 kids so it was a lot of work trying to haul everything up and down the stairs while trying to carry two little kids. Just something to think about for families.

Location! The resort amenities were great. The pool, cedar tubs, fire pits, breakfast & bar were delightful, attractive and clean. Loved the blanket on the bed and super cute shower curtain. The downstairs queen room was extremely small. No chairs. The floor was bare concrete except for under the bed. The linens were great, but the bed in room 129 was uncomfortable.

We chose this hotel mainly because it was pet friendly at a good price, the bar/coffee bar area is wonderful, we really enjoyed being able hang out as a family with the dog and play a game and drink. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.
