Comfortable bed, no noise from other guests, good sized room with necessities. Extra towels were provided upon request. I was also loaned a phone cord when I forgot mine which was greatly appreciated. IMHO one of the employees at the desk could definitely benefit from some management hotel operations training. The other employee was very kind, welcoming and generous which is what I would hope for in a Hilton representative. Additionally the breakfast is bare-bones. No cooked eggs and meat, or a waffle maker which is pretty much standard in hotels these days (yes, I know because we stay in them nearly weekly). We opted for the McDonald's next door on our way to work so that should say something about the breakfast offered.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. Pool was great. Rooms were comfortable. Good location, close to Downtown Grand Rapids. Easy drive to most places. Quiet area tucked away from the roads. Really hot in the hallways on the top floors. Pillows flattened quickly. Ice maker and microwave is on the first floor used for all guests. We heated up food our second night and ate on the first floor at a common area, so we adjusted.

The assistant manager was amazing. When we checked into the first room it had a terrible odor. The manager, Becky I believe, was great at getting us into a different better smelling room. The breakfast was not anywhere near what I had expected. Most hotel continental breakfasts I have had include at least something warm like a waffle or eggs and breakfast meat. This one was very disappointing.

Pretty comfortable bed, bath room was clean. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but I am learning this is the budget arm of the Hilton brand, so breakfast was fine I suppose. Hot coffee, two juices, cereal, oatmeal, toast and a small yogurt bar.

The rooms were clean and the pool was well taken care of The hallways were hit and the trim was marred everywhere. People were smoking marijuana and it came through the bathroom vent badly.
