Breakfast room as well as the breakfast meal offered was excellent!.. The woman in charge is a gem! Food quality and selection also great! Otherwise, it was very clean and comfortable. Quiet throughout the building. Very pleasant desk staff and beautiful lobby area with fireplace, available, water, snacks, etc. Plenty of parking. Easy access to Scituate and Cohasset. They were out of their regular coffee brand and the substitute (DD) was too bland. The hostess was very apologetic. Our air conditioner made a loud swishing sound all night which kept me awake at times. Our tub drain was clogged, the drawers on the TV console would not stay closed and there was a hole in the ceiling where the sprinkler head is located. The tub could use refurbishing. All minor except the A/C. Front desk very receptive to feedback.

It was clean in the room and hot breakfast was good on the second morning of our stay. Unfortunately, the first morning, we went down to hot breakfast that had been talked up by the front desk person the night before, and there was no hot breakfast left. Breakfast went until 10 and we got there around 9:15. We specifically chose this hotel for the hot breakfast so that we wouldn’t have to spend time and money elsewhere. We felt like we didn’t get what was promised for the money we paid. A hot breakfast at a restaurant or a hotel where it isn’t included is about $30/person, so we feel we are out about $60. Not Applicable Room could have been cleaner. There were loud, rowdy and unruly guests in the room next to me who were told multiple times by the night manager to quiet down and didn’t until 3am. Several guests complained about these loud guests. These rude loud guests should have been removed from the property as they refused to quiet down and caused multiple travelers to lose sleep and enjoy their night.

It was an easy check in and check out process. The staff was friendly and there was a complimentary post card in the room. The room was very plain for the price. You can hear every sound that happens outside of your hotel room. Also the complimentary breakfast we were told runs from 7-10am was shut down by the time we went down for 9:20/30 there was only some little muffins and apples.

Staff was accommodating. Location was good. Generally clean. The room was musty. Smell was accentuated in morning. The shower didn’t drain well. The eggs were cold and slightly undercooked… bad combo. The juice was watered down. The carpet felt damp. The AC unit was louder than normal. One bedside table lamp didn’t work And had no outlets.

Complimentary breakfast was decent The woman who ran it every morning. Chefs kiss. Such a pleasant warm friendly woman. She always wore her hair up in a neat bun. Beautiful.
