Motel 6 Davenport

Large room with a table and chairs. Nice enough shower. Good location, right off of interstate 80 in Davenport. The were several food establishments nearby to pick from. We tried Olympic Gyros right down the street - yummy! The evening desk clerk was awful - he was not just unhelpful, he was rude. I had asked for a handicapped room on the first floor (physically disabled), and were given a room in the back, up the stairs, on the second floor. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, and there was only one small trash can provided. Noise was not monitored and the children in the next room were running up and down the hall until 1:30 am. Also, there were people in the parking lot asking to bum cigarettes and money. It was a little scary.

I like the handicap shower chair it's a lot better than standing because I cannot stand on my feet very long I don't like the fact that when you're in a downstairs room and you have kids upstairs above you and stomping and running and jumping and disturbing your guest downstairs I believe every guest that have kids that are in an upstairs room need to be respectful of other guests that are staying down below

Pet friendly Roach or 2, a/c smelled so bad when we turned it on I couldn't get the smell out, broken glass pipe on floor, cigarette butts in ash tray
