We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, but down the street. However we did eat dinner at the hotel restaurant, The Venetian. It was Friday night and we enjoyed the seafood buffet. It was $45 and was very good. They had raw oysters on the half shell and they were delicious! There was also a cooked to order scampi station, peel and eat shrimp, many kinds of fish, charcuterie, salad and so much more. It was delightful. The exterior has been renovated and they are working on the interior. The part of the hotel that is open is dated and showing signs of age and some neglect, which we knew before booking. However the history and the charm is very evident still. I hope that the owners renovate carefully with an eye to preserve the history.

The location and character of the hotel are amazing. We stay each year because of the extras. Our stay usually involves walking nearby for dinner, getting ice cream on the level below the lobby and walking across the street to the hot springs that often have fireflies. We enjoy the Sunday brunch that starts at 10am. It is obviously an old grand hotel, so keep it in mind. Some rooms are a little tight, but they have larger rooms available for a little more money. Nothing is perfect, such as doors that aren’t perfectly aligned, sometimes rusty ac by the window, and such. Some things show lack of attention to details like paint drops on the tub from whenever they renovated.

Hotel is iconic and provided a memorable stay. Lots of parking options, either free on the street or fee for valet or self park garage next door. Loved that everything in Hot Springs National Park and downtown Hot Springs is walkable from the hotel. There is a spa on site for a thermal bath. Fun to be able to drink the spring mineral water right from a tap in the lobby. Rooms are quite old and outdated, though perhaps some might say that is part of the charm of this place. Shower could benefit from update.

Amazing, unique hotel with a lot of history! Parking was horrible. Valet at the hotel was full so we had to park a little way down in another lot for the Arlington. We had to park on the top & walk down the street carrying our luggage

Location, staff were both EXCELLENT There was construction we were not informed of prior to booking. There were extra fees also not included in the booking. Room was also not as clean as it could have been.
