Quality Inn South Lake Tahoe

We stayed in room 172 on the busiest time of the year. (4th of July weekend) and while our room was across the way from the front desk and even with parking being limited, we still felt it was doable/comfortable and we were extrememly thrilled with the location. I appreciated how spacious the bathroom area was and how the sink was separate. I also liked the corner view of the room. Nothing fancy but just nice. We had a two queen bedroom meaning there were four of us. I did not like having to call for extra towels on our 3 night stay during the busy time. I also do not like that the hotel only does cleaning by request only, but it won't keep us from coming back.

Location was perfect, close distance to casinos and shopping, room size was good, bathroom needs updating, breakfast was good, however dining area was nasty. There were staff making sure the food area was clean and stocked. But the staff never wipe off any of the tables or swept the floors. The nasty dining area in the main building. There were two staff members cleaning the food area, but no one cleaning the dining area. I visited the main lobby a couple times during the morning (2 different days), no improvement. Guest were taking food back to their rooms. The room cost was expensive for a Quality Inn, but I guess that’s the going rate for Lake Tahoe in July.

location is good, very near to mountain gondola.. beach is near but not free.. this is private beach. Breakfast was ok, not much fruit options bedsheets, towels etc were have very clean.. had a lot of black/red spots.. they should consider replacing them with new.. Chargers don't work.. only the front office one works

The breakfast was very good. But the room was so crowded it was hard to get to even get a cup of coffee. They should move the waffle machine to another area of the breakfast room so that families waiting for their waffles don’t block the flow of foot traffic at the buffet.

The front desk person was very helpful and took care of us when the AC was not working. I didn't like the fact that they needed to try to play with the AC first.

Great location, close to everything Heavenly. The private beach vouchers came in clutch when we watched to go to a less populated beach! Facilities were nice & clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming as well!
