It was a perfect location in Tahoe City. We were in the tower on the 5th floor with an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. They are very pet friendly and there is a dog park right across the street. So convenient! The room was nice and it seemed to be in great shape. The bed wasn’t super comfortable (too soft for my liking). As I mentioned above, the bed wasn’t super comfortable - too soft for my liking and there was no air conditioning ( which was unfortunate as the daytime temps were in the high 80’s and low 90’s). But, luckily, because of the altitude of Tahoe City it cooled off nicely in the evening. So we slept with the windows open which made it comfy temp wise. The only downside to that is then you hear all the traffic noise and people walking around at night.

The pepper tree inn is perhaps offers the best location and most reasonable price for accomodations in Tahoe City. Helpful and friendly desk person., available from 3 pm-10 pm. The facility is dated but clean. King bed was a bit too soft for my comfort. Best communication with Management is through text or email. Limited on site personnel.

Good, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped room. Very convenient location to go to Palisades Tahoe. Convenient access to good nearby restaurants. View to the lake a perfect bonus. Very good value. Overall facilities are old, so a few things are working imperfectly such as the room thermostat.
