The room was clean, affordable and close to the courthouse, which was helpful for my stay. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, and a smooth check in process made my second stay at the property a positive experience. The gentlemen at the front desk also assisted me with a technical issue which was very helpful. If looking for an economical, clean, safe, affordable room for a night or two, I recommend Discovery Inn. The parking lot affords enough parking for the property but the spaces are very tight. The property shows its age a bit in some areas but, overall a great budget option if you are staying close to downtown Hayward.

. The room was so clean and bright! the floors were very clean and the room smelled really good when we walked in . IT SMELLED SO FRESH AND CLEAN.!!!!! The only thing that was a bummer is that there was only one towel per person. when I called and asked for 3 more for the next day , he seemed annoyed and only agreed to give us two more. the first towels were larger more soft and fluffy the next were the small thin towels. I didn't want to steal them I just wanted dry towels for the next day. the 3 for hair/ body and one for the hubby

How clean the room was. There was a great TV in the room nice and big. The AC heating unit was phenomenal. The blanket and top sheet work smaller than the bed size so it made it uncomfortable to sleep. And the walls are so thin you can't even put your television on 25 before somebody starts saying you're too loud maybe they need to rearrange. In the parking situation was pretty bad they did not have enough parking for each unit. Didn't like that there was no phone in the room.

Nice inn manager and the room was decently clean. The AC needed to be cleaned/fixed but the inn manager did offer to switch our rooms if it was too hot. We had to open the window and since it’s next to a busy street, it can be quite loud.

Parking was a little tight for our bigger SUV. Thankfully the owner helped us find parking on property to accommodate us even with getting in past 10pm.
