TV worked well, everything I needed was in the room. My friend and I just needed a quick stay. I was impressed with how clean it was. There were ZERO issues with cleanliness! Headboard of bed banged against the wall if you leaned on it and then got off the bed. It woke up my friend staying with me in the room and I was concerned about waking up any neighbors. Sometimes the TV channel Id be watching on Google Free Play would stop connecting to the internet, and I’d have to figure out a way to make it connect again.

This is a very clean and quiet budget hotel near Main Street shops & restaurants in Ventura. This is a no-frills, family-run small motel that has been nicely renovated. The beds are clean and comfortable, service is attentive, and you can get a clean and quiet room for 1/3 the price of brand-name motels. Good parking and Wi-Fi, TV & A/C. The welcome mats in front of each room door need to be replaced. They also need better quality toiletries and softer towels.

Location is only a view minutes drive to beaches, surf spot, downtown and restaurants. Very noisy because it’s directly on the main road, and you hear every step from above in the rooms downstairs. Also no daylight possible in the downstairs rooms, because if you open the curtains, everyone from the parking lot and street can look right into your room. Additional curtains would be great, that let daylight in but block the view from outside!

From the outside, it looked like a typical inexpensive motel. But inside it was clean. It was a small room but had what we needed for a couple of nights. The staff was very nice.
