The room was very clean and there was plenty of parking. Bed and pillows were decent. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. The desk is only open during the day. No one there past 6:00 in the evening. If you need something, you have to walk up to their sister hotel. There isn't any air conditioning, but a fan was provided. It was warm on our first day, so the room didn't really cool off until until 1;00-2;00 AM. we did use the fan and kept the windows open. There was a very light continental breakfast, which didn't get put out until after 8:00 AM. The offerings were good, just rather late.

The location is great, the staff was lovely, our room was ready early, it was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. We loved that the room had a mini fridge and microwave as well. The room was very warm/stuffy and we weren't able to modify the thermostat at all so we didn't sleep great. The carpet was a little stained and the bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade. They had free continental breakfast but it wasn't served until 8:30 which was a little too late for us so we didn't get to enjoy it.

It was refreshing to open the window and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean! The TV was old and it would have been better if it was a smart TV. My wife and I like to watch late night movies from the online streaming from our phone. We usually just cast our device to the TV. Also the coffee machine and coffee in the room was less than desirable. I suggest getting a single serve Keurig-type coffee maker. These are minor issues and not a dealbreaker for us but might be for other people.

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent—right across from the water. Overall, a good location with great service, but the rooms need updating. The rooms could use a refresh. The carpets and some of the furniture were stained, which made the room feel worn.

The staff is always amazing from house keeping, maintenance to the GM David. This is the only hotel we stay at in Cambria because David always makes us feel welcome and like old friends. Location is amazing and they take pride in the property.
