Mesa Retreat- Pool, Firepit, Hot Tub

Size of the home, number of bedrooms for our group and ability to congregate together. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Nice to have a pool table. Location was a 10 minute drive from Arizona Athletic Grounds, so great for our soccer group. Safeway nearby with several other conveniences in the same shopping center. Communication from the host was severely lacking. If we hadn't been a resourceful group who found the unlocked side door (lucky) we would have lost $1000 and would have had to make last minute hotel reservations. I couldn't get a response from the host and we had NO check in information about how to get into the home. What I thought was a door code was incorrect. I sent several messages to the host in the days leading up to our stay (through the app, email, text message, phone call) and got NO response. When we arrived at the property there was no one there and initially we couldn't get in. We were a group of 14 families in town with our daughters for a soccer tournament and were within minutes of making arrangements for alternate accommodations when someone in our group found a side door that was unlocked. Once inside, the home was spacious, relatively clean and comfortable, however soon it became clear that it wasn't being maintained. The toilet in the half bathroom just off the living room was clogged. We found the guest house manual in a drawer while looking for information about WiFi, and while we found the WiFi information, it didn't work. The dishwasher was broken. The backyard clearly has been neglected (chair cushions, yard games strewn about, broken fixtures). The hot tub was empty save for small puddles of muddy water in the bottom and it was clearly broken. The pool at first seemed OK, but had several centimeters of dirt on the bottom.
