The breakfast was great! The owner is the chief cook and had the usual continental breakfast stuff plus a nice egg dish and homemade pastries. The bed was comfortable and the area was peaceful and quiet in a nice neighborhood. The furnishings reminded me of staying in a country manor. The price was very reasonable for the area. Our issues may not affect you. First, we had a large piece of luggage and needed to maneuver it up 3 flights of stairs. Second, the driveway is gravel and we were dropped off at the curb by our tour bus, so it was very hard to get said luggage up to the door using its rollers. Third, the gable window has a sloped ceiling on the sides with sharp edges. Both of us knocked our heads on them at least once.
